One of the core components of AEON’s solution is our custom IP PBX. The AEON PBX provides a level of functionality far exceeding that of many of the most expensive PBX systems available today.

Traditional PBX systems are often expensive and slow to implement. They use proprietary hardware that has limited features and adding new features becomes cost prohibitive. This is not so with AEON. AEON is a full featured IP PBX that can run in parallel to your existing PBX or as a stan-dalone PBX. All calls are routed across your internal IP infrastructure meaning you only need to install or maintain one set of cabling for all your network and telecommunications needs.

Using a company’s IP infrastructure, versus a traditional telephone infrastructure, allows companies to reduce costs by running only a single set of cabling for both PBX and network capabilities. This allows for greater control of the entire network, making troubleshooting move faster.

With AEON, companies can now use their broadband connection for all their voice and data needs. This helps further reduce telecommunications expenses and allows for more efficient use of their network connections.

The AEON PBX also offers complete access to comprehensive features like an Automated Attendant, Call Waiting, Caller ID, Music On Hold, etc. AEON also offers its customers the ability to utilize the same extensive features and functionality for employees working from home or those that travel. AEON’s IP Voice product set can be deployed on a worldwide basis allowing for four digit dialing between parties, regardless of physical location. Employees can work from remote locations via their “virtual” office and that includes AEON’s IP Voice and Secure Collaboration products and services. AEON provides a number of benefits over traditional PBX systems such as the ability to “hot plug” phones anywhere on the network making the system easier to manage during relocations.
